Use of small Extinguishers
Fire can happen in any environment. It starts small, but can expand very rapidly. Within 3 to 5 minutes an average room can be completely on fire. By a swift and correct reaction, it can be avoided tha a starting fire grows to a raging fire. Employees that regularly encounter small or starting fires take this course, so that a fire can be succesfully limited and fought.
What is learnt?
You learn what fire is, how it starts, and how to prevent, contain and fight fire. In a pratical setting you learn how to use the extinguishers available in your working evironment.
The program:
The training consists of a theoretical and pratical part.
Subjects are:
- What is fire;
- Fire triangle;
- What causes fire;
- Fire classes;
- Different fires;
- Different extinguishers and extinguishing agents;
- Pros and cons of extinguishing agents;
- Practice.

Duration of the training:
The course takes one half day, and times can be deliberated.
