Basic Training First Aid - Oranje Kruis

Annualy, more than 25000 accidents happen in the Netherlands, which require First Aid.  To offer aid in a responsible way, a good First Aid training is very important. During the Basic Training First Aid, the students recieve training for 3 days, which are concluded with a final exam. After completion, the students are certified Oranje Kruis First Aiders, and are capable to provide First Aid in a correct and responsible way. At home, in public and…at the workplace.

What is learnt?

During the Basic Training First Aid, the following is addressed:

  • The 5 key points;
  • Failures in consciousness and respiration;
  • Circulatory failure;
  • Using the AED (Automatic External Defibrillator);
  • Burns;
  • Bleeds;
  • Shock;
  • Bruises, sprains, dislocation;
  • Fractures;
  • Eye Injuries;
  • Poisoning;
  • Electrocution;
  • Other illnesses and injuries.

During part of the training a Lotus victim will be present.

The program:

The program is composed in such a way that all topics are being treated.


Who is it for?

This training is for anyone who wishes to (further) skill himself in First Aid. The training is given incompany. Max group size is 12 participants.

Duration of the training:

We train you employee(s) in three days to the competences as required by the Oranje Kruis. Afterwards on the last day, the exam is held by an independent Exam committee, on behalf of the Oranje Kruis.
